Perched 500 feet above sea level, this gorgeous panoramic course was perfected by architect Tom Doak, who made the decision to run holes through ridges that were framed by deep, cavernous canyons. This course redefines the word ‘remote’ and captures the hearts and minds of golfers who have played here.

Tucked away in plain old New Jersey is a golf club so spectacular that it’s often voted in the top 3 best courses in America and the world. This course was created from nothing in the early 1900’s, finally being completed for the first time in 1918 with 18 holes. But this course isn’t just easy on the eyes; it’s known for being incredibly trying for even the most experienced of golfers. In fact, it took over 3 years for anybody to complete it in 70 strokes. Although it’s frequently referred to as the most difficult course in the world, that doesn’t stop people from trying desperately to play a game here simply to see if they have what it takes.
